After multiple rounds of design presentations, I won the National Winner Award for my design.
Space Design
Asian Paints plans to offer "D Door 2016" as a platform to work in collaboration with design students from up to 10+ premier institutes of Design and Architecture, from around the country. Conceptualized by Asian Paints, Colourpro for the wonderfully, compulsively creative, D DOOR is a portal to creative realization and recognition. Areas of opportunity for the theme(s) will be art and functionality, as well as aspects of social responsibility. The competition offers the heady high of a truly challenging creative brief and a premier platform to showcase students work. student generate their own inspirations blend the creative styles of a great painter and a renowned architect, and skillfully infuse it with their personal design signature.
Problem statement: The students have to select one artist and one architect from the list given by Asian paints and as per their selection, students have to study the theory, philosophy and work style of both the artist and architect. For the first round, the student has to create mood board as per their understanding and study, from first round top 10 entries selected for the second round where students have to design 3D space as per their mood board and initial understandings.
